I’ve been scouring all the old episodes trying to find out what happened to Jin because I think he’s still alive and I stumbled on your very interesting message board; plus the previews for 2009 keep talking about all 8 must go back, but what if there were 9 i.e. Jin that got of the island, so these folks go back and still they’re in jeopardy since they’re one short - Jin! I agree the last you see of Jin is on the freighter exploding; he could have dove in the water and was saved by another small insignificant ship so no one would have known he was saved cause he has AMNESIA or could have swam back to the island too! But there is no way he’d work for her father again and vice versa; It also seems that the island is 3 days in time behind, so it could have been 3 days behind when the actual explosion occurred and Jin made it back before then; but I don’t think the island really blew up, it just went invisible almost like those undetectable military planes and relocated! I didn’t realize all the clues which make up the timelines which make sense now and I appreciate all you fans who have all these dates and clues in order, makes it so much more intriguing; so that was a definitely a flashback with Jin then; I had initially thought Jin had amnesia and married someone else; you can’t mess with the year of the dragon that definitely gives the timeline crediblity; now that you mention this DWI, they could write him off the show, but I hope they don’t as he’s one of my favorite characters; I look forward to reading more of your theories or insights. Thank you!

Ok,
-they need to take Locke to the island, so he will live again, in some way, it could happend.
-Jin is still alive, he jump into the water before the ship explodes, and then he swims to the island, still diont know how but he can find the island
I have this doubt, what about the character that Nestor Carbonell plays? He is always young! Since Locke was a child till today! How he can do that?
Thats the power of the island!
All return to the island fot the others and I mean all the survivors from the crash
well, thats what I am guesssing about next season

Whats up with the guy that never ages? How long has he been on the island? What is his connection with the island? Ben came to him when Ben was a little boy and remember when the guy that doesn’t age went to see Locke when Locke was a little boy. Does any one have info on this guy? I think he knows a lot about the island and its earlier inhabitants.

Explain what hapened to Claire in your opinion! What does it mean to be “dead” on the island anyway? Tell me what you think happened then!
Ok, maybe she’s not dead but her physcal presence remains on the island. And she is into astrology. Maybe the island enables astral projection of her spirit. My theory as to how she appeared in Kate’s bedroom. Add a counter theory as to what is happening. By the way, I feel negativity from you with all the ? you used.

All this shippers wars are so funny… and sometimes sad. I hate it when it sometimes becomes crazy and people just cry out without thinking or looking for only good news for their beloved pair, even sometimes change the meaning of the circumtances(( as at the beginning of the 4-th season smb was talking that Kate’s baby is Sawyer’s, even when it was clear that it was Aaron. It’s so funny and crazy.

And what they (Darlton) do with the characters, especially Kate(((
So many people loved her and now have “mixed feelings” and hate this love triangle at all. So they (Darlton) have to change the story and change the main characters in the show.
As the story between these three become a game, the show in the show. I wish they make this situation more clever, not just stupid three adults who can’t talk to each other clearly properly.

Really hope Jin is alive, he could have easily dived off before the explosion, could go either way but I’ve got a feeling he’s alive, or maybe the writers haven’t decided yet - they could easily have conclusively show him die but chose not to.

umm sun has common intrest with charles widmore because ben is the reason the bombs went off on the boat and sun found when locke came back and talked to them all… so in the end sun and witmore want john dead… jin is dead end of story..

I also think were going to be seeing what happened on the island between the time it moved and when Locke visited the Oceanic 6. There is now way the writers would just skip what went on for three years on the island.

Just a thought. Just because Locke is dead, it does not mean he is out of the show. Charlie, Christian and Claire have made appearances after death. Both Claire and Christian’s bodies remain on the island. So I wonder if Jack brings everyone back to the island including Locke’s body, that Locke will appear on the Island after death, like Claire, Christian and Charlie.

Hi,
This is why I believe Jin is alive:
1. Jin is on deck of freighter and running for chopper and that’s the last we see of him.
2. When freighter explodes, you don’t see anyone on deck - could be lazy CGI but I think not.
3. The time affect of the island showed us a dead, washed up doctor the day before he got his throat cut. This may tie in with Jin being washed ashore alive possibly the day before he leaves the island and maybe on the other side.
4. Faraday and people on the boat vanish with island so if Jin in water alive, he may as well. The helicopter was in the air so may make a difference.

yeah i saw the season finale of lost 3 hours ago and i liked very much…its not like the finale of season 3 but its really good….be patient guys 240 days to go…and lost will be back..
